Through a partnership with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW), On-the-Job Training (OJT) is available to defray the cost of training new employees. SCDEW will reimburse a company for 50 to 75 percent of the training wages for six to 10 weeks of training new hires who are eligible for WIA services. Each of the three area OneStop Workforce Centers has an OJT Contract writer ready to assist employers in every step of the process.
