For companies that need quality employees, but do not have the budget to train new hires.

Through a contract with the South Carolina Employment Security Commission (SCESC) On-the-Job Training is available to help defray the cost of training new employees for companies in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. This program allows SCESC to reimburse a company for one-half of the training costs for on average 10 weeks of training for new hires who are eligible for WIA services. Each of the three Pendleton District One-Stop Workforce Centers has an OJT Contract writer ready to help area businesses and potential participants.
