Operations Committee – The Operations Committee ensures the Board develops, sets, and maintains the organization’s vision; helps the Workforce Investment Board of Directors to establish its mission and goals through a regular strategic planning process; establishes the parameters and guidelines for, and establishes the Partnering Operator; reviews committee work to ensure committee focus links to the organizational mission and ensures the organization follows through to reach its goals.

Finance Committee – This committee establishes an annual budget; serves as the audit and monitoring committee; establishes and implements a plan to leverage and increase the funds within the organization; establishes strategies for the development of organizational products and services that can be sold to generate unrestricted resources for the organization; and develops personnel policies for the organization.

Business Partnerships Committee – This committee develops actions and implements strategies to address business needs and increase business involvement in workforce development activities.

Marketing and Outreach Committee – This committee creates, publishes and implements a marketing plan for the WIB; markets all WIB initiatives; creates a common them that ensures the WIB members, Youth Council, Partnering Consortium, service providers, businesses and the community understand the vision of the further for, and the role of all the players within, the workforce development system.

Workforce Skills & Education Committee – This committee supports the alignment of entities that work in partnership to promote, develop and organize on-going activities and services to continually advance the skills of the regional workforce.

Youth Council – The Youth Council serves as the WIB’s architect for a comprehensive youth service delivery system in the WorkLink region.
