Palmetto Youth Connections (PYC) is a community partnership administered by Henkels & McCoy that focuses on serving out-of-school youth ages 17-21 years old throughout South Carolina. The private company provides case management, counseling, training, career development and employment services for out-of-school youth. PYC offers supportive services to WIA Youth participants in the form of course costs, transportation assistance, childcare, tools, uniforms, books and monetary incentives for goal completion.

Through this program, students earn a high school diploma or GED from Adult Education Centers in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens Counties. PYC prepares students to enter postsecondary education and provides occupational skills training to assist with career development and job placement.
