GATEWAY TO COLLEGE

The Gateway to College program serves students age 17-21 who have dropped out of high school and who meet program admission and continuation requirements. The program enables students to earn a high school diploma (awarded by a participating area high school) while achieving college success. Students earn both high school and college credit, up to and including an associate’s degree, awarded by Tri-County Technical College. All classes are college courses taught by college faculty on Tri-County’s Pendleton campus.

The program covers the costs for tuition, textbooks, and some supplies. Students are required to cover the costs for college fees, transportation, some supplies, and any debts they may incur to the College (such as library fines and parking fees); however, the WIA program provides stipends for qualified participants. All Gateway students receive comprehensive and individualized support services, including academic and career advising, to help ensure their success.

To learn more about eligibility requirements and the application process, visit Gateway to College or call (864) 646-1461.
